Research: The Opening Titles of "Se7en"

We were asked to analyse the opening of the film "Se7en".

I watched the opening 4 times. The first time I just watched it normally, the second time I had to detect all the titles that appeared in the opening, then I had to watch it another time, with no sound on, which helped me focus more on the screen. I wrote notes about the visuals, meaning all the things I could see and why the creator of the opening decided to include these visuals and how if affects its target audience, and finally the last time, I had to take notes on the musical score. I did so by closing my eyes and listening carefully to the music.

This research allowed us to have a good idea of how we are

meant to set our opening analysis. It will be a beneficial help to us because it will make the filming process smooth and organised.
